Snapfish

Overview

Snapfish is a global photo products platform that lets customers turn personal photos into printed keepsakes — photo books, cards, prints, calendars, and gifts. Operating across the US, UK, and Ireland, Snapfish competes in a crowded consumer market where seasonal demand spikes are intense and marketing has to move fast to capture moments that matter.

The marketing design team at Snapfish is responsible for driving customer acquisition and retention across email, web, and mobile — translating promotional campaigns and seasonal moments into assets that convert. With a calendar driven by holidays, gifting seasons, and limited-time offers, the team operates under constant deadlines and high creative output demands.

The Challenge

Snapfish's marketing calendar is driven by holidays, gifting seasons, and limited-time promotions — requiring sustained creative output across multiple channels and regional markets simultaneously. Executing at that pace meant every campaign had to be adapted, not just translated:

  • Regional differences in offers, pricing, and product availability required distinct asset variations per market

  • Seasonal peaks compressed timelines across email, web, and mobile app all at once

  • Volume was constant — campaigns didn't pause between holidays, they stacked

  • Maintaining visual consistency across channels and markets while moving fast was an ongoing production challenge

The Opportunity

The opportunity was to bring structure to the volume — building repeatable production workflows and flexible templates that could absorb the pace of the calendar without breaking consistency.

My Role

As Designer on the Snapfish marketing team, I supported campaign production across all three regional markets — US, UK, and IE — spanning email, web, mobile app, and print.

My responsibilities included:

  • Designing and maintaining the aesthetics, layout, and visual direction of email, web, and mobile app content

  • Create key hero images or Animations across Ads space

  • Updating and redesigning Trigger and Lifecycle emails to improve consistency and relevance

  • Collaborating with project teams to plan and execute campaigns, ensuring art direction aligned with creative concepts

  • Partnering with copywriters to develop ideas that were on-brief and on-strategy

  • Working with pre-media on color correction and photo retouching

  • Directing photographers and stylists on photo and video shoots
